Road Freight Branch Start Up West Midlands, UK

A Sales Executive position has become available with a client of Midas Global, a global forwarder within the industry to cover road freight. This client would like you to focus on sales across the Midlands, however you will not be restricted to just this territory. If successful over an 18-24 month period, there could be the option of then setting up a branch in the Midlands for this client, with yourself leading this branch development.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Target, Identify, approach and close new business both air freight and ocean freight solutions
  • Arrange face to face meetings with new and existing clients
  • Update the company CRM with sales activity.
  • Liaise with the operational and internal sales teams


  • Experienced at selling road freight solutions to clients
  • Knowledge of European freight trade routes.
  • Past sales accomplishment within the freight forwarding industry


  • Minimum of 3 years freight forwarding sales experience
  • Specifically road freight sales experience
