Export Manager Chicago, USA

The Export Manager will oversee the general operation of the Export Department.

Your Responsibilities

  • Day to Day management of workload, change staff assignments if and when required
  • Problem identification/ resolution.
  • Client contact ensures quality customer service.
  • Monitor the profitability and productivity of the department;
  • Ensures distribution of information vital to the operations of the department and the general conduct of the business
  • Negotiations of cost-effective rates with carriers and other vendors to ensure maximum profitability
  • Issuance and/or maintaining customer profiles
  • Data Quality management
  • Support sales and marketing efforts to increase existing business and maintain current accounts

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Minimum four to ten years of Export operations
  • Administration experience
  • Solid team leadership/management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks utilizing strong time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience in PC and MS Office applications required
